“I find inspiration from graphic designers like Massimo Vignelli, Paula Scher, Stefan Sagmeister, Saul Bass, Paul Rand, and Milton Glaser.”
My passion for art started as a toddler, as I drew pictures and made arts and crafts in school. While teachers always suggested I grow up to be a firefighter or police officer, I was always more drawn to my markers and chalk. My dad was always into photography, and at 13 (the same age he picked up his first Minolta film camera), I picked up my first Kodak point-and-shoot camera and took pictures at the park by my house. At that moment, I realized I wanted to pursue art.
High school photography and graphic design classes were instrumental in uncovering my talent. I took a leap of faith and enrolled in college for graphic design, a decision that deepened my passion for art. My interest in advertising, logo design, branding, and photography flourished, and I found myself drawn to web design and videography. My curiosity and eagerness to learn extended beyond the classroom, driving me to explore these fields independently.
Recognizing the importance of adaptability in the ever-evolving field of graphic design, I have enrolled in online courses to enhance my leadership skills and broaden my knowledge. My proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and XD) and the Microsoft Suite, coupled with my ability to seamlessly work in both Mac and PC ecosystems, demonstrates my versatility and resourcefulness in using a variety of tools and platforms.
